“We’re happy to unveil non-LP b-side Lies, which pulls off the old Velvet Underground trick (perhaps derived from Indian raga) of building tension between a battering-ram bassline and a one-note high-end drone.” - PaperMag

Spinner posts Slow So Long as their mp3 of the day! Karl gives some history of the track:

“‘Slow So Long’ was written in the midst of a 7-year relationship ending. About trying everything and everything to save things even though you know in your deepest parts that it will end and that it should have ended long ago. In a twisted way it is a love letter, trying to let them know that you want to let them be free, because they may have a chance at happiness without you. Death, renewal and all that lives in between.” — Guitarist Karl Briedrick
